Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' sci-fi thriller "Edge of Tomorrow," under the direction of Doug Liman ("The Bourne Identity," "Mr. & Mrs. Smith").

The epic action of "Edge of Tomorrow" unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.
Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop—forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again...and again.

But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Announces Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition

Warner Bros. today announced Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and gave us a few screenshots and a trailer in the process. According to the press release some of the things included in the Game of the Year Edition are:

The Harley Quinn’s Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin.  Gamers must utilise each of the characters' unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley's vengeful plan and shut the gates on the urban mega-prison forever.  In addition to experiencing a new storyline, fans can explore new environments and face-off against Harley’s all new gang of thugs.
 
The DLC included on disc includes the Catwoman Pack, Nightwing Bundle Pack,Robin Bundle Pack, Challenge Map Pack and Arkham City Skins Pack.  All told,Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition packages new gameplay content, seven maps, three playable characters, and 12 skins beyond the original retail release:

·         Maps:  Wayne Manor, Main Hall, Freight Train, Black Mask, The Joker’s Carnival, Iceberg Long, and Batcave

·         Playable Characters:  Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing

·         Skins:  1970s Batsuit, Year One Batman, The Dark Knight Returns, Earth One Batman, Batman Beyond Batman, Animated Batman, Sinestro Corps Batman, Long Hallowe’en Catwoman, Animated Catwoman, Animated Robin, Red Robin and Animated Nightwing

Halo 4 - Spring Showcase Video Documentary

343 Industries and Microsoft Studios are bringing Halo 4 to Xbox 360 later this year and boy are they going all out! Everything from the graphics, sounds effects, and music are being completely reworked. Sounds like Microsoft is trying their best to make this THE exclusive game to get this holiday season for the Xbox 360! The multiplayer levels are looking extremely detailed but I can't wait to see more of the actual campaign modes at E3.

Mario Party 9 Teaser Trailer and New Screenshots

Although I think the Mario Party series is an incredibly fun game (especially at house parties) I can't say I'm excited about Mario Party 9 coming out soon. I'm sure the game will be great but I would rather see Nintendo pump out another F-Zero or Starfox game. Especially this late in the Nintendo Wii's console life.... Throw us a bone Nintendo!

Man on a Ledge - Special Extended Trailer

I recently had seen a poster of the upcoming movie Man on a Ledge at a local theatre but I pretty much brushed the movie aside at the time. Now, after watching this trailer, I'm pretty hyped up about seeing it. It's definitely something different from all those glittery vampire and doomsday movies that have been popping up left and right. It also doesn't hurt that I've read some good reviews on it! The movie stars Sam Worthington (From Avatar & Clash of the Titans) and Lydia Spencer (From The Next Three Days & Zack and Miri Make a Porno) and is releasing this Friday January 27th. I'll try and check it out this coming weekend and let you all know if it's the sleeper hit of 2012 or if it's just another dud.

SSX: Deadly Descents - This is SSX and Online Features Trailers

I've always been a fan of EA Sport's SSX Tricky and SSX: Deadly Descents definitely brings back the style and look of the original SSX Tricky games! Today EA Sports showed off some new trailers highlighting the game's online modes and another one highlighting its core features. The game is due out this February 28th, 2012 and it will definitely catch your attention if you are a SSX Tricky fan! Can't wait to see or hear more from EA on this title!
