As you may or may not know The Three Stooges: The Movie DVD & Blu-Ray is coming out this July 17th, 2012 and to celebrate it's release Twentieth Century Fox invited us to the The Three Stooges Circus! The event took place at the South Florida Art School in North Miami Beach and their amazing performers took the spotlight instantly!
Their aerial, jugglers, and rola bola performers were outstanding! Some of us had to actually try out some of their performances and let me just say that I didn't do that bad! Although for some reason I just couldn't do a forward roll. I definitely have to put that on my list of skills to perfect!
One of my favorite performers was by Axle Perez whose expertise in Rola Bola is out of this world (You can check out his performance in a video in the gallery)! If you don't know what Rola Bola is here is a brief description straight from Wikipedia:
It is a lever similar to a see-saw that the user usually stands on, usually with the left and right foot at opposite ends of the board. The user's body must stay balanced enough to keep the board's edges from touching the ground and to keep from falling off the board.
Now imagine that but balancing it 6 feet in the air while jump roping and going through hoops! Insane skill!
Everyone loves mimes and Clown & Clowny (pictures to follow) did not disappoint! I'll actually posted a video in the photo gallery album of their full performance because it can only be seen to be truly enjoyed! Overall it was a fantastic experience that really gets you to appreciate all the hard work and improvisations the performers and The Three Stooges had to master and endure when they did their slapstick comedy!
